∎ 10 to 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Industrial Engineering, Industrial Production Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for ensuring production efficiency for a woven Jacket-based factory with 60 lines and 55 to 60 machines per line.
∎ Follow up with Order allocation in sewing lines based on SMV on a regular basis
∎ Prepare Time and Action Plan
∎ Develop IE system and new procedures in our production facility;
∎ Follow up with daily, and monthly production & efficiency reports, machine breakdown report etc. and give direction to sub-ordinates accordingly.
∎ Analyze production reports to understand gaps in the manufacturing process, causes of delays, and areas of concerns
∎ Create budgets and costing for resources required for production; share with the operations team, account management team, and planning team
∎ Monitor line-wise production reports by an hourly output basis
∎ Ensure line balancing as per layout, time, and motion study for all styles
∎ Bring sustainable efficiency improvements by identifying the bottlenecks and ensuring the elimination
∎ Research and explore new machinery and the latest systems that meet the company's long-term goals and prepare cost benefits analyses and ROI for the same
∎ Calculate & Analysis non-productive time, reduce defects and wastage, garments manufacturing process breakdown, perfect machine layout
∎ Should focus and reduce the excess amount if any after production/shipment and reduce it.
∎ Check operation bulletin and Job scheduling on the basis of the buyer's order;
∎ Design the machine layout & work station layout according to operation bulletin to fulfil the production target;
∎ Manage, maintain and direct the IE team to ensure required efficiency, find out look holes and take necessary actions accordingly.
∎ Follow up on the critical operation in the line;
∎ Analysis of labor cost, capacity planning & creation of production schedules;
∎ Resolve production problems;
∎ Reduce excess manpower or unused manpower in line;
∎ Introduce modern technology/techniques and procedure to increase efficiency;
∎ Improve M:M (Man: Machine) ratio;
∎ Develop system and process to reduce wastage of material;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years

∎ Strong in Planning & Follow-up,
∎ Systematic(SOP) Management Style,
∎ Analytical & Problem-Solving Capability.
∎ Strong communication skills in English.
