At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial position preferred.
Experience in a 100% knit composite garments manufacturing factory will be given preferenceStrong knowledge of knit garments quality assurance and quality control systems.
Sound understanding of fabric, dyeing, finishing, cutting, sewing, and garment finishing quality requirements.Good knowledge of buyer quality standards, inspection procedures, and AQL systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to lead a team and work effectively under pressure.
Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
Familiarity with quality improvement tools and root cause analysis techniques.
Responsibilities & Context
Monitor and ensure product quality throughout the garment manufacturing process, from fabric inspection, PPM, in-line inspections to final inspection.
Supervise quality from Cutting, Sewing, Finishing to Final Inspection.
Ensure compliance with buyers' quality standards, technical requirements, and approved specifications.
Analyze quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive action plan.
Coordinate with production, merchandising, technical, and quality teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Carry out regular factory process audits and inspections across Sewing and Finishing.
Work with buying house QC’s and third-party QC’s during quality inspections and factory audits.
Prepare quality reports, analyze KPI’s, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure effective implementation of buyers' quality manuals, compliance requirements, and approved sample standards.
Take necessary initiatives to reduce rejection, rework, alteration, and customer complaints.
