Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for monitoring overall activities of the commercial department, coordinate with govt. offices and foreign suppliers.
∎ Responsible for HS Code analysis and finding the correct HS Code for each product the company will import.
∎ Responsible for product costing from foreign factory to modern trade shop floor in Bangladesh.
∎ Calculate, analyze and finalize competitive MRP along with the financial team.
∎ Handle all LC related activities with foreign suppliers, local banks and also C&F agents.
∎ Prepare all necessary documents to release goods from port and customs within the shortest possible time.
∎ Arrange and follow up supplier payments with banks.
∎ Ensure that the organization complies with contractual obligations as well as state and federal regulations.
∎ Build and nurture client relationships in order to continue winning new contracts.
∎ Conduct market research to inform strategic business decisions.
∎ Oversee branding and marketing endeavors to ensure all efforts are aligned with business objectives.
∎ Works with other department heads to determine company goals and KPIs.
