Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Master degree preferably in Marketing/ Media & Communication/Journalism/English/International Relation/ with minimum 3-4 years working experience of Communication & Volunteer Program, preferably with an INGO, working with low income people

∎ 3 to 4 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Branding and messaging:
∎ Contribute to the socialization of Habitat's new global messaging/branding platform in terms of telling the Habitat story, protecting the brand, the use of creative, etc, based on the international edition of the Habitat Brand Guide.
∎ Enhance organization's branding through strategic initiatives and ensuring consistency in messaging and logo visibility via campaigns, communications materials, social media, and other promotional initiatives
∎ Generate ideas and create marketing materials to motivate donors and volunteers.
∎ Design or produce collaterals such as brochures, videos, merchandise for awareness-raising and brand-building.
∎ Social media and media relations:
∎ Maintain Habitat Bangladesh's website and regularly update the content
∎ Update content and connect with supporters on Habitat Bangladesh's Facebook, Twitter and YouTube channel
∎ Assist the Head of Resource Development & Communications to gather content, edit and distribute Habitat Bangladesh's annual report, newsletter and other publications when needed,
∎ Build media contacts, send media releases and pitch stories to media
∎ Volunteer program:
∎ Assist Head of Resource Development & Communications to develop and implement strategies for volunteer engagement with local corporations, universities, youth groups, faith-based organizations, etc
∎ Work with program colleagues to host volunteer teams on build sites, ensuring their safety and a meaningful experience to build longer-term support
∎ Work with youth supporters in organizing activities under the Habitat Young Leaders Build campaign.
∎ Resource development:
∎ Assist Head of Resource Development & Communications to develop and implement strategies for partnerships with corporations, embassies, foundations, etc.
∎ Assist in writing project or funding proposals
∎ Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent communication skills in both spoken & written in English & Bengali
∎ Advance skills in MS Office and graphic software
∎ High moral character with integrity and honesty
∎ Capacity to negotiate with/International & National donor/ government officials/ partners.
∎ Sound knowledge on communications materials development.
∎ Stewardship of resources, transparency and accountability.
∎ Good Organizational Skill.
∎ Excellent presentation skill both English & Bengali.
∎ Capacity to handle multi tasks & prioritize job responsibilities;
∎ Excellent communications and presentation skills both English & Bengali
∎ Maintain high moral character with integrity and honesty
∎ Team player
∎ Should have a "Can Do Attitude".
∎ Ability to live and work in a cross-cultural setting
∎ Ability to plan and produce quality work and meet tight deadlines

Salary: Tk. 45000 - 65000 (Monthly)
