∎ Advanced degree in natural resource management (NRM), zoology, land management, anthropology, conservation management, or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead local relationships and technical direction in local context in support of the chief of party
∎ Supervise regional and site offices
∎ Lead integration of Dhaka and regional/site team activities to implement, monitor, and adapt project initiatives based on evidence and data to achieve results, and ensure technically sound and politically savvy activities are implemented effectively
∎ Ensure that work plan, M&E, and reporting efforts are aligned with agreement requirements, activity objectives, and USAID guidance
∎ Ensure the activity meets high standards for performance and integrity that comply with applicable USAID regulations and Chemonics policies
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10 years of experience in NRM, livelihoods development, conservation, land management, or related field.
∎ Minimum 10 years of experience in working on NRM related donor funded programming including at least five years managerial experience and leading teams and programs of similar scope and size.
∎ Work with a broad range of stakeholders.
∎ Strong ability to address and integrate gender responsive activities.
∎ Experience in South Asia, experience in Bangladesh preferred.
∎ Fluency in English required
