Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate should have minimum second class in Honor's and Master's /equivalent degree in Finance / Accounting from a recognized university/ institution.
∎ Professional degree, such as ACCA/CA, CMA & experience in any reputed private university will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise & maintain daily Transactions, Payment & Collection.
∎ Maintain Receipts & Payment Vouchers, Journal Voucher, Cash Book, General Ledger, Bank Book, Bill Register, Debtors & Creditors Ledger, Party Payment Registers and Employees Register.
∎ Preparation of Financial Statements (Annual & Half Yearly Reports, Quarterly & Monthly accounts) and submit to the management showing overall operating progress and financial position of the University. Initiating necessary action for statutory audit and presents the statutory audit and audited accounts before the management.
∎ Producing various types of papers / statements relating to management information and submitting the same for their decision-making purpose as and when necessary.
∎ Arrange Finance Committee meeting.
∎ Updating University Accounting Software and preparation of different reports as required by the Management and any other related jobs as assigned by the Management.
∎ Monitor Tax & VAT related matters and maintain liaison with Tax & VAT authorities for settlement of related issues and also ensure compliance with laws. Act as an adviser to management in taking decision on Bank, Tax, Regulatory matters.
∎ Maintain external relationships with Govt. & Other Regulatory bodies including Ministry of Education, UGC, NBR, ICAB, FRC, Bank & Other Financial Institutes, External & Internal Auditors.
∎ Perform the duties & responsibilities to a high professional and ethical standard.
∎ Must possess depth knowledge on Private University Act 2010.

∎ 10(ten) years of working experience in relevant field.
