Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Engineering (MEngg) in registered professional engineer is preferred.
∎ Masters in civil/road and bridge engineering or equivalent, registered professional engineer is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Familiar with or quickly adapt to AASHTO standards, ASTM standards, BNBC specifications, etc., responsible for organizing design subcontractors to satisfy the design requirements of the project contract.
∎ Responsible for the management of the contract performance of the design, including reviewing whether the quality, ability, and quantity of its personnel meet the project requirements.
∎ Organize and review the design and achievements of the survey and design subcontractors, and manage design progress, quality, safety and cost control.
∎ Responsible for project geotechnical investigation, survey work progress and quality management.
∎ Responsible for the review of design results in the preliminary design stage; organize the review and selection of design proposals for optimized design; manage the progress and quality of preliminary design by the survey and design subcontractors.
∎ Responsible for organizing and reviewing the design results during the shopdrawing stage; check design standards and main technical parameters; putting forward opinions and suggestions on the selection of main process routes, the selection of the main equipment and materials; Quality and progress management of the design documents; responsible for the review of test results.
∎ Responsible for organizing the communication, coordination, program discussion, review and gatekeeping of the design Variations.
∎ Responsible for the completion documents of the project, and assist with the handover of completion documents.
∎ Responsible for or assist with other related work related to design management arranged by the project office.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 38 to 90 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Bachelor degree or above in civil/road and bridge engineering or equivalent, registered professional engineer is preferred.
∎ More than 15 years of experience in road, bridge or infrastructure engineering design and Design Management, experience in EPC contract projects is preferred.
∎ Working experience in international standard design, familiarity with AASHOTO/BNBC design standards is preferred.
∎ Overseas design or management work experience, strong English communication skills are preferred.
∎ Carry out comprehensive and in-depth management of survey and design subcontractors, organize and coordinate design units to communicate with Employer and employer's consultant for design approvals.
