Educational Requirements:

∎ Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)/Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) is preferred

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The position is responsible to build and operate the CI/CD platform and work with the development teams to ensure they are enabled to perform Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment of their applications.
∎ Design, build and maintain the software development pipeline automation with its related tool sets (e.g., GIT/BitBucket, GitLab, Jenkins, GitOps, etc.) to enable Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD).
∎ Design and implement the infrastructure and operating environment for container based micro-services that meet the agreed high availability, performance and security requirements.
∎ Design and develop the test automation to validate the builds in the CI/CD pipeline.
∎ Work closely with development teams or other internal teams to ensure that solutions are designed with customer user experience, scale/performance, security and operability in mind.
∎ Support and ensure that the software releases are align with the organization's internal software release and deployment process.
∎ Customer Deployment Incident and Service assurance (including solving customer product deployment issues).
∎ Re-architect & migrate the old platform to Kubernetes platform with full integration of CI/CD pipelines.
∎ Work on a platform for monitoring, logging, and orchestration of docker applications running on Kubernetes.
∎ Development and implement platform components to support containers.
∎ Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis to address routine to moderately complex reporting issues with accuracy or performance.
∎ Lead cross-functional co-located teams in design, development and implementation of enterprise scalable features related to enabling higher developer productivity, environment monitoring and self-healing, and facilitate autonomous delivery teams.
∎ Develop, maintain, and utilise monitoring and observability tooling to ensure customer deployment SLAs and KPIs are met or exceeded.
∎ Facilitate and support the troubleshooting or root cause analysis of platform issues or incidents with other internal teams.
∎ Proactively monitor and identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and architecture simplification for the platforms
∎ Participate in project planning and management activities.
∎ Research and develop prototype using the latest, most relevant technologies and trend for continuous improvement of the platform
∎ Responsible for all 7/24 Level 2 Operations in a proactive manner (Deployments, Monitoring, Troubleshooting, SLA/OLA Management, Service Capacity Management, Service Network Management, Technical Contract Management, Service OPEX Management, Service Incident Management, Service Problem Management, etc.) for corresponding products and services
∎ Coordinate and communicate with NOC; provide Tier-2 and Tier-3 level support.
∎ Contribute to and maintain systems standards/best practices.
Additional Requirements:
∎ BSc/MSc in Computer Science & Engineering.
∎ Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) is preferable.
∎ 6-8+ years of Tech experience with demonstrated success of DevOps automation, containerization and orchestration.
∎ Required Capabilities
∎ Strong understanding of CI/CD Pipelines in a globally distributed environment using Git, Artifactory, Jenkins,GitLab, Docker registry, etc.
∎ Experience with micro-services.
∎ Experience with deploying and managing micro-services using container orchestration platforms.
∎ Strong knowledge and expertise in Kubernetes - it is good to have Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
∎ Experience deploying to and orchestrating containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
∎ Experience in configuration management tool such as Ansible/Chef.
∎ Experienced in building solutions for monitoring, logging, security, and scalability of applications
∎ Strong knowledge and expertise in CI/CD workflow design and implementation
∎ Must have experience working as Software Engineer, able to code in Python
∎ Must have strong experience in Cloud Technologies
∎ You must be at home with Linux and Windows operating systems including package management, scheduling, security, configuration, monitoring.
∎ You are able to use tools such as Git, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef/Ansible, Prometheus ,Dynatrace, Zabbix, Maven/Ant, Gradle.
∎ You understand how to write "Package" deployers (apt, yum, deb, choco, cocoa)
∎ Hands on experience to write automation using Bash, Python, Puppet, and Ansible.
∎ Familiarity with Containerization to build images with Docker/BuildKit/BuildAh.
∎ Experience in software and application development that requires analysis and design work.
∎ Knowledge/Experience in Continuous Integration and Automated Testing
∎ Knowledge/Experience in Agile Development and Management tools
