Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in Biology / Zoology / Botany/ Ecology / Oceanography from any reputed university.
∎ Excellent communication skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and present findings effectively.
∎ Ability to work independently, manage projects and meet deadlines.
∎ Fieldwork experience and knowledge of data collection methods are a plus.
∎ Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in understanding complex hydrological system.

AECL has been conducting Initial Environment Examination, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Management Plan, Resettlement Action Plan etc., in various fields such as Power Sector, Textile (Dyeing, Printing and Weaving), Pharmaceutical, Oil, Gas & Energy, Fertilizer, Cement, Pulp & Paper, Iron & Steel, Ceramic, Infrastructure, Food Industry, Tannery & Leather, Chemical Industries etc.
∎ Currently we are looking for a Consultant/Expert on Biodiversity/Ecology/Oceanography.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Screening of ecological issues as required foray selected sites of the project
∎ Conduct flora and fauna survey and baseline analyses and identify ecological sensitive areas in and around project areas. Ecological impact analyses, including indirect and cumulative effects.
∎ Develop alternative design options and mitigation measures in consultative manner
∎ Identify potential ecological enhancement measures
∎ Provide input to development of EMP
∎ As required, provide cost estimates and BOQ items for the environmental management aspects for all relevant aspects Participate in stakeholder consultations.
∎ Provide any other required necessary support to Team member for preparation of Environmental study report.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 65 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Frequent site visit may required.

Salary: Negotiable
