Educational Requirements:
∎ S/he should be proficient in English (preferably with O & A level background) with a Master’s degree.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ We are in search for a young, smart, energetic person for immediate appointment to lead the Admission Department of Presidency University.
∎ S/he should be able to promote the university to prospective students and their guardians; therefore, should possess strong interpersonal, presentation, networking, marketing and verbal and written communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collecting information from different sources about new students.
∎ Regular communications with different colleges and institutions in order to enhance network for the university.
∎ Provide information to the students about admission eligibility, total cost, per credit fee, waiver policy, grading policy, total semester/course duration, payment system etc.
∎ Receive phone calls for providing admission information from the students and others.
∎ Take new admission and help the students to fill up the admission form.
∎ Processing admission file by coordinating with Accounts and Registrar’s Office.
∎ Input new student’s data and information to the Student Information Management System (SIMS).
∎ Maintain records of admitted students in the register book.
∎ Counseling students before or during admission.
∎ Overall supervision of the admission team in order to ensure collective effort for the department.
Additional Requirements:
∎ S/he MUST have experience of having served in Admission Department at any private university.
