∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform day to day operations of the factory Transport & Distribution nationwide of cement deliveries to sales end point distributors.
∎ Efficiently handling a team of drivers and helpers and manage the nationwide transport network of deliveries.
∎ Barge and trawler vessel control, understanding maritime laws and regulations. handling ship rent contracts from Chittagong to Factory for clinker delivery and discharge, loading and unloading of clinker and other raw materials to silos, sailor and marine crew management, etc.
∎ Responsible for all of the dispatching, routing, and tracking of delivery vehicles with the shipment.
∎ Follow-up transport & invoice challan.
∎ Follow-up bills for the trip, carrying, food, etc.
∎ Maintaining accurate administrative records. Regular report preparation & register book maintenance.
∎ Maintain the complete history of a fleet of transport e.g. transport registration number, brand, year of manufacturing/ model, capacity, chassis number, year of purchase, value of transport, users name etc. in the software.
∎ Need to work closely with the KPI.
∎ Maximization of profit from the distribution process and minimize costs with control and monitoring.
∎ Improvising on the efficient use of assets and routes to enhance supply performance and improving the delivery chain.
∎ Have to have detail knowledge on inter-district wise down trip and root plan according to kilometer.
∎ Being the first point of contact for all drivers.
∎ Attending phone calls & confirming cement distribution for parties/dealers.
∎ Communicating with the marketing department, dealers, and others as and when required.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
