∎ B.Sc. Engineering (Preferably Mechanical) from any reputed public/private university.
∎ 10+ years inline experience.
∎ Excellent knowledge of oil/gas production systems and equipment.
∎ Excellent knowledge of HSE requirements.
∎ Good organizational and supervision skills.
∎ Good communication, presentation & report writing skills.
∎ Ability and willingness to train others and pass on technical knowledge and experience.
∎ Excellent analytical skills.
∎ Must have formal HSE qualification & certification in Occupational Health.
∎ Offshore survival certification will add extra value.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Comply with own responsibilities within the HSEQ policy.
∎ Comply with own responsibilities within the HSE Case.
∎ Act as custodian for the HSE Case.
∎ Monitor all core staff as to their awareness of their duties within the HSE policy.
∎ Ensure that all duties and agreed actions as defined within the HSE year plan are achieved satisfactorily.
∎ Assist the HSE Team in all emergencies as required within the ER procedure manual.
∎ Implement quality assurance measures for cylinder manufacturing, conducting inspections and audits.
∎ Identify areas for improvement, coordinating with steel cylinder production team to address quality issues.
∎ Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
∎ Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance documentation.
∎ Generate quality-related reports and metrics for management review.
∎ Fully comply with and ensure that all plant/ logistics and other functional changes are completed within the Safe work permit.
∎ Supervise and support all activities of the HSE department.
∎ Assist the HSE Team and other functions in dealing with emergencies as part of the emergency response team.
∎ Identify, assess and recommend control methods for internal new project work to identify HSE risks.
∎ Review and revise HSE content within the Business Management System and associated documentation.
∎ Assist the HSE field teams in all aspects of emergency management as required and transfer knowledge in this area to other staff.
∎ Coach and assess staff in emergency response competency through conducting regular drills and exercises.
∎ Ensure compliance with HSE Management Systems (including EMS) by providing advice, training and review.
∎ Conduct ISO audit completion certification.
∎ Continue to train, advice, coach and develop HSE department personnel ensuring not only “competence” but also a striving towards excellence in the performance of their duties.
∎ Investigate any HSE related incident/accident, prepare reports and recommendations and maintain monthly accident/incident statistics and develop action plans to mitigate them.
∎ Ensure that an effective system of pro-active reporting of hazard is in place in the form of HOC cards. Encourage all employees in reporting hazards via the HOC card system and develop action plans to mitigate them.
∎ Ensure that effective health monitoring is in place (through the medic) by conducting routine medical checkups, arranging vaccination programs, promotion of positive health awareness programs.
∎ Ensure First Aid training and Hygiene awareness program is conducted regularly.
∎ Ensure hygiene audits are conducted onshore and offshore vessels.
∎ Comply with own responsibilities within the HSEQ policy.
