Job Summary

We are seeking experienced, reliable, and service-oriented Home Care Assistants to provide professional housekeeping and daily household support in premium residences in Dhaka. Both male and female candidates are welcome to apply.

The successful candidates will maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation while assisting with kitchen activities and everyday household routines. This role requires attention to detail, discretion, and a courteous, respectful approach to residents, guests, and household belongings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily household cleaning, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning accessible windows and glass surfaces.

• Clean and sanitise bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, dining areas, balconies, and other assigned spaces.

• Follow daily, weekly, and periodic deep-cleaning schedules.

• Handle furniture, decorative items, delicate fittings, and premium surfaces carefully, using suitable cleaning products and techniques.

• Make beds, change linen and towels, and keep bedrooms and guest rooms tidy and organised.

• Assist with washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organising clothes according to fabric-care instructions.

• Support kitchen activities by washing vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assisting with basic meal preparation as instructed.

• Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware, and maintain the cleanliness of kitchen counters, sinks, appliances, and storage areas.

• Organise pantry and refrigerator contents, check expiry dates, and follow safe food-handling and storage practices.

• Set and clear dining tables, serve meals and refreshments, and assist during family gatherings.

• Monitor household supplies and promptly communicate replenishment needs.

• Complete authorised household errands and maintain purchase records and receipts.

• Operate household appliances and cleaning equipment safely and report faults, damage, or maintenance needs.

• Respect household routines, safeguard belongings, and maintain confidentiality regarding residents and guests.

• Coordinate with residents, designated supervisors, and other household staff to complete agreed duties efficiently.
  
  

Experience and Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in domestic housekeeping, household assistance, hotel housekeeping, or a similar position.

• Experience in premium residences, serviced apartments, or upscale hotels will be an advantage.

• Practical knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation, laundry care, and kitchen hygiene.

• Ability to operate common household appliances and cleaning equipment safely.

• Ability to understand and communicate instructions in Bangla; basic English communication is an advantage.

• Basic literacy and numeracy to follow checklists, read product labels, and record purchases.

• Relevant housekeeping, hospitality, or food-hygiene training is preferred. Practical skills and relevant experience will receive priority over formal academic qualifications.

Compensation and Working Arrangements
The monthly salary ranges from BDT 15,000–75,000, based on demonstrated competence, relevant experience, and the agreed scope of work.
Working hours, breaks, weekly days off, leave, overtime arrangements, and live-in or live-out requirements will be communicated before appointment. Any applicable meals, accommodation, and additional benefits will be specified in the employment offer.

Both live-in and live-out arrangements may be available; the arrangement will be confirmed before appointment. Higher pay may reflect premium residence experience, cooking abilities, English communication skills, and broader household responsibilities.
