Job Responsibilities:
∎ The day-to-day functioning of Safety & Quality Audit (SQA) related activities, on behalf of the Head of Safety
∎ Periodically keeping update with applicable regulatory requirements, international best practices, standards and recommendations related to safety & quality audit
∎ Establishing & maintaining US-Bangla Airlines (USBA) Safety & Quality audit programs
∎ Assisting the Head of Safety in the analysis of corrective & preventive safety measures generated from the audits to perform and facilitate hazard identification and risk mitigation process of USBA SMS
∎ Collecting and preparing safety films, posters, bulletins to display at the relevant places in a befitting manner as a part of creating safety awareness at all levels
∎ Monitoring relevant manuals & documents on safety & quality management system are developed and maintain in accordance with applicable regulations & procedures
∎ Developing internal audit program on individual discipline of USBA, on safety & quality management systems and processes, to ensure compliance
∎ Developing an audit plan concerning individual discipline of USBA
∎ Under the guidance of Head of Safety, conduct internal safety & quality audit on individual disciplines of USBA to ensure the compliances on safety & quality management systems and its processes
∎ Under the guidance of Head of Safety, conduct safety & quality audit on external service providers of USBA to ensure the compliances on safety & quality management systems and its processes
∎ Regular follow-up of corrective actions recommended through audit programs, so to monitor its effectiveness, and to ensure timely compliance of non-conformities
∎ Planning and conducting departmental and unit level Safety & Quality Audit related Trainings and Briefings regularly as a part of USBA SMS promotion program
∎ Researching & proposing appropriate software and safety & quality data analysis related online support for efficient practice of Safety and Quality Audit in USBA
∎ Coordinating with the In-charge Record Keeping & Analysis (RKA) in maintaining the confidentiality of SQA related documents and records
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Candidates with working experience on one or more of the following backgrounds will get preference,
∎ o Auditing
∎ o Aviation
∎ o Safety
∎ o Quality
∎ Candidate with good knowledge & experience on Quality Audit and/or Safety Audit will get high preference.
∎ Aeronautics/Aeronautical Engineering or any other aviation subject related graduate will get preference.
∎ Candidate with good knowledge on aviation field, skills in software applications, and proficiency in English will get preference.
∎ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
∎ Well conversant in software management systems and aviation principles.
∎ Strong sense of discipline.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
