∎ A renowned business conglomerate in Bangladesh is also the sole distributor of an internationally favored brand of lubricants, offering all kinds of lubricants, greases, coolants and functional fluids solutions.
∎ They are expanding their business throughout the country. The company is now looking for a capable, energetic and proactive individual at plant to fill the position of Junior Chemist.
∎ Responsible for implementation of production processes and procedures, leading productivity improvements with project-based activities, including new product introduction and manufacturing cell design to reduce waste, improve quality and safety, and reduce operating costs. Manage KPIs and ensure preventative actions are taken to maximize success. Work on many phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity, with results impacting on project completion. Work under general supervision, reviewed at project milestones and/or on completion by Senior Management.
∎ Department: QA/QC Lab
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform analytical testing of lube oil using viscometer, potentiometric titrator, KF titrator, CCS, MRV, ICP, FTIR and other laboratory equipment.
∎ Partner with QA&QC team to define and prioritize testing, inspection and other activities.
∎ Perform routine sample preparation using chemistry techniques for lube oil.
∎ Completes all paperwork associated with the analysis such as calibration logs, sample register, run logs etc. as per guideline.
∎ Assist to maintaining inventory of lab consumables (CRM, Chemicals, safety items and others) before dry out with consultation with dept. head.
∎ Assist to maintain all kind lab documents as per ISO and PIAQA guideline.
∎ Assist to maintain third party calibration of all lab equipment and ensure equipments are internally calibrated prior to test run.
∎ Maintain housekeeping of the Lab.
∎ Other activities as instructed by the Dept. Head.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 1 year experience in lube oil manufacturing preferred.
∎ Lube oil industry, FMCG preferrable.
∎ Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
Salary: Negotiable
