∎ Summary:
∎ Pathfinder International is implementing ?????? ("Dishari"): "Advancing the Leadership of Women and Girls towards Better Health and Climate Change Resilience" project in Bangladesh. It is a four-years Climate Resilient Project that aims to Women and girls in low resource settings have reliable access to quality health services and communities and health systems are resilient to future shocks. That is to build the capacity of women and communities to become more resilient to the impact of climate extremes in Bangladesh, especially on Climate Change & Disaster, SRHR, Health and Nutrition, WASH, Gender & GVB, adaptive Livelihoods.
∎ This project -wide knowledge management, exchange, learning and documentation so that the program know-how, information, and experience are shared inside and as appropriate outside the organization with clients, partners, and key stakeholders. Develops tools for knowledge management and exchange and contributes to communicating results and impact. Plans for and selects consultants and provides targeted training as needs arise.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Key Job Outcomes:
∎ Systems, Policies, Standards and Guidelines: Contributes to developing strategy and plans specific to knowledge management, exchange, learning, documentation and dissemination. Managing written communications and learnings to apply internal process improvement initiatives and document process. Document project reports and gather evidence-based knowledge and learning, identify opportunities, and enhance evidence and process documentation to improve the process and provide guidance for improved project success.
∎ Partners with Resilience team members to institutionalize policies, guidelines and standard procedures, and monitoring and evaluating projects with a focus on knowledge management. Develops the system and guidelines for the use of findings gained from lessons learned and documents. Oversees the design and input to knowledge management systems, including literature reviews.
∎ Knowledge Management Tools; Leads the development and management of knowledge management and learning tools using KM best practices, including but not limited to identification of successful and failed strategies and supporting training materials. Coordinates knowledge management with other on the project team for systems and data usage. Provides technical assistance to libraries (TALs), archiving and use of knowledge products.
∎ Knowledge Management Planning and Implementation: Works with team to develop KM/KE/Learning plans and designs evaluations, research, and quality improvement studies. Leads staff to develop and implement learning guidelines, standards, processes, procedures for their respective activities. Works with team to identify consultant pool for assessments and evaluations that require expertise outside of Pathfinder.
∎ Knowledge Management Products; Oversees the creation and dissemination of knowledge products (tech pubs, intake meeting, interviews, document review, writing, collaboration within MEL for data, reviews, collaboration with communities of practice). Supports technical assistance on information collection for documentation, packaging, and branding for visibility.
∎ Maintain contact with and manage communications appropriately with all stakeholders in the agreed process and reduce knowledge gaps. Constant communication between the internal teams and client; operating as the liaison between external stakeholders and internal leadership to support knowledge base content creation and maintenance.
∎ Resource Management: Works with team to identify consultant pool for assessments, evaluations, research, and implementation science that require expertise outside of Pathfinder; Manages resources.
∎ Training and Education Development and Delivery: Designs, develops, and delivers relevant training to Pathfinder staff and MEL staff. Leads knowledge expertise across teams, business units and key stakeholders.
∎ Documentation and Reports: Oversees documentation and learning activities in the MEL work plan. Responsible for technical writing and the copy editing of technical products and other documentation.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 years of progressively responsible experience in MEL health/development projects or equivalent.
∎ Minimally Required Job-Specific Competencies:
∎ Knowledge Management Systems Development: Mastery of skills in Knowledge Management system development. Proven ability to build feasible systems and linkages in low-resource settings.
∎ Proposal Development: Proven ability in proposal development from concept to full proposal and resource mobilization.
∎ Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights Services: Deep knowledge of family planning and reproductive health principles, practices and services of programs, including program strategies and indicators, and the latest professional developments in SRHR, including special challenges faced in the developing world, and related measurement issues.
∎ Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead, manage, supervise, and develop others within a matrix culture, ability to work individually as well as a team in tight deadlines.
∎ PC Applications: Proven ability to build knowledge management platforms and/or software applications.
∎ Change Leadership: Proven ability to lead and demonstrate a high degree of flexibility in managing change across a broad group of stakeholders in an inclusive manner.
∎ Presentation Skills: Proven ability to make presentations on results to small and large groups and public speaking quality.
∎ Community Relations: Mastery of skills in facilitating work relationships between partners, government officials, and communities.
∎ Minimally Required Organizational Competencies:
∎ Software Applications: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Languages: Proven writing and speaking skills using local languages and English language
∎ Self-Management and Teamwork: Ability to work independently or as a member of the team, ability to work with people from different cultures, ability thrive in a matrix organization, ability to be detailed-oriented, and ability to manage stress effectively in a fast-pace environment.
∎ Communication and Influencing Skills: Proven ability to influence others, including donor agencies and local partners, through diplomacy and proven oral and written communication skills.
∎ Passion for Sexual and Reproductive Health: Commitment to family planning, reproductive health services, gender, maternal, child health services, and eradication of harmful traditional practices.
