∎ 13 to 17 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible to manage activities of the law division as well as supervise the staff work in the division.
∎ Undertake timely legal action for recovery of bad loan and follow up with branches / other division for supporting action at their end.
∎ Compliance with regards to relevant Bangladesh Bank circulars, guidelines etc as well as legal action related policies, guidelines etc of the Bank.
∎ Ensure and maintain legal files and documentations including their updating.
∎ Review the legal risks involved in Bank operation and take necessary action accordingly.
∎ Overseeing delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish Bank's goals, strategies and priorities
∎ Review/ formulation of legal policy & procedure and ensure execution for the interest of the Bank.
∎ Implementing key legal processes that relate to legal drafting, vetting, solidify agreements, contracts, negotiations, various kind of deeds etc
∎ Manage legal risk within the Bank by taking responsibility for providing legal advice on all legal matters affecting Bank operations
∎ Provide clarification & advice on legal issues on various aspects of the Bank
∎ Ensure quality of legal work and success in legal cases.
∎ Developing and leading corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the Bank's matters
∎ Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues
∎ Monitor and action on suits and cases by and against the Bank and take necessary action for early disposal of the suits and cases
∎ Ensure reporting to Regulatory body and statutory Body as per requirement
∎ Perform any other legal activities raised on various issues and as and when required by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 56 years
∎ Minimum 13-18 years relevant experience including experience in the Law/Legal Department of any scheduled commercial Bank
