∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Group of Companies, Multinational Companies

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Development and implement procurement strategies.
∎ Plan, supervise import and local purchase of the finished goods, raw materials, plant equipment and machineries, etc.
∎ Outsource packaging items and other required items for different category of products
∎ Plan and prepare procurement budget for various spares parts and materials in order to ensure the delivery as per the timeline.
∎ Supervise the team in a manner so that they can deliver their own responsibility by quality and in a timely manner
∎ Follow up the purchase procedure as prescribed the company from time to time.
∎ Pan and follow-up the payment of vendors bills in consultation with the accounts department
∎ Develop vendors for new products/new processes in a cost-effective whilst considering quality parameter or the quality
∎ Supervise all steps of procurement's like P2P cycle.
∎ Manage and supervise LC related activities
∎ Liaise with government office, customs, C&F agent, bank, insurance company, etc.
∎ Manage timely renewal of all certificate relating to procurement; import, IRC etc.
∎ Manage all other task assigned by the management time to time

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience as a purchasing manager / deputy manager or in a similar position at least 5 or more years in FMCG industry.
∎ Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and accounting software such as SAP, Tally etc.
∎ Knowledge of chemical materials which generally are used for home care & personal care products such as detergent, body wash, shampoo, oral care products (toothpaste, toothbrush) etc.
∎ Knowledge of different kinds of packaging material
∎ Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
∎ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
∎ Strong negotiation skills.
∎ Ability to work independently
∎ Have honesty and integrity
