Manager - Import

Strong knowledge of import procedures, LC opening, amendments and documentation.

Sound understanding of customs clearance, bonded warehouse procedures and import regulations.

Experience in handling back-to-back LC, UD, UP and related commercial documentation.

Good knowledge of banking procedures, shipping documents and C&F operations.

Strong communication and team management skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and commercial ERP systems.

Run the import operation as per SOPs within budget complying all import regulations, trade laws, and customs procedure.

Run the local export operation as per SOPs complying all banking, local export practices and customs regulations.

Undertake and maximize cash incentive claim complying relevant regulations.

Perform commercial treasury function, reporting and managing import liability, allocating and reporting export proceed and meeting internal fund requirement.

Train, lead and coordinate the import and cash incentive team in such a way that induces maximum HR optimization and reflects succession planning.

Supervise the import team and ensure smooth departmental operations.

Prepare import-related reports and provide regular updates to management.
