Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA / Master's in Management / Supply Chain Management from any reputed university.
∎ Professional Degree like CSCP or PGD on SCM will be given preference.

∎ 8 to 10 year(s)

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Manufacturing (FMCG), Multinational Companies
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To forecast the annual requirement of Raw Materials based on production capacity of the individual unit of Group and discuss with top-level Management to determine the import policy.
∎ Planning, regular cost effective Sourcing and ensure uninterrupted supply of Raw Materials, Chemicals and Spares parts in all units and upcoming projects in due time for continuing production & utilization of maximum production capacity of the unit.
∎ Develop SOP for Supply Chain works in coordination with all departments and implement at SC, WH and MC.
∎ To ensure cost control & properly utilization of working capital regularly execute inventory position of all units of the group to establish Lean & Thin Demand Responsive Chain.
∎ Coordinating and maintaining relationship with the local & foreign suppliers, Government, Semi Government & Financial organization likes BEPZA, Board Of Investment, National Board Of Revenue, Bangladesh Bank, Commercial Bank, Port Authority, Insurance Company, C& F Agent, and Custom Authority etc.
∎ Communicate with Bank and Financial Institutions for open Letter of Credit & submission of all necessary documents as required by the Bank.
∎ To import industrial raw materials, have to contact with Local / foreign supplier for negotiating Price, proposal submitted to bank for opening letters of credit and imported cargo to release from port & properly delivered to Factory Warehouses, in order to properly maintain supply-chain to smooth running all units of the entire group.
∎ Maintain regularly all kinds of Insurance such as Fire, Marine, Shipping Guarantee, Bank Guarantee etc. for all units and provide the same to the respective department.
∎ Timely smooth solution and overall control of the Supply Chain Department and maintain a job schedule file where jobs for all units are noted.
∎ Preparation of bid and comparative statement for select the best quotation.
∎ Any other responsibility as and when assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Should have practical Experience in ERP/Oracle System.
∎ Skilled and self-confident in verbal and written communications in Bengali & English.
∎ Able to work well under pressure
∎ Candidates must possess & exhibit strong leadership abilities.
∎ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
