Job Responsibilities:
∎ - Develop the training module on protecting children from drowning for the relevant stakeholders including the local government representatives, field-level government officials, partners etc.
∎ - Develop advocacy guidelines for reducing child drowning and facilitate the process to implement the existing plans adopted by the government.
∎ - Organize advocacy meeting campaigns at the field and national levels on specific issues.
∎ - Provide guidance to the field team to organize advocacy campaigns and meetings at the field level and attend the campaign.
∎ - Provide necessary support and guidance for the quality implementation of interventions on drowning prevention.
∎ - Monitor the progress of the intervention and communicate with the local administration to collect the certificates on the implemented programs.
∎ - Capture case studies from the project level for the greater audience.
∎ - Network and maintain dialogue with relevant stakeholders e.g. Government Institutions, National and International Development Organizations to ensure collaboration, synergy, and sharing of experiences on drowning and advocacy issues.
∎ - Attend meetings organized by various networks in Bangladesh and perform appropriate roles in the network.
∎ - Conduct training workshops for relevant stakeholders, staff, and Forum Network members on advocacy and Gender-related topics.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ - At least 5 years of proven and progressive experience working on Advocacy, networking and training related issues.
∎ - Experience in developing modules and facilitating training
∎ - Demonstrated skill in advocacy and influencing
∎ - Ability to build the capacity of NGOs/staff and reference people to deliver advocacy work.
∎ - Experience in program/project monitoring and evaluation.
∎ - Experience in organizing advocacy meetings at the national level and regional levels.
∎ - Presentation, facilitation, communication and writing skill both in Bangle and English.
∎ - Efficient in fluent speaking and writing skills in English.
∎ - Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
∎ - Ability to work in cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural internal teams, and with external stakeholders.
∎ - Delivering specific results, developing self and team members, problem-solving and decision making, innovating and adapting, applying technical and professional expertise.
∎ - Experience in designing research/surveys would be an additional qualification and advantage.
∎ - The applicants have experience working in drowning prevention, child protection, ECCD, quality education, SDGs, Right to Education etc.
∎ - Job Location-Dhaka with an extensive field visit
Salary:
∎ Tk. 35000 (Monthly)
