Job Responsibilities:
∎ - Overall responsible for Project implementation, supervision, and monitoring within a team work-frame;
∎ - Ensure the process of dialogue and negotiation for establishing connectivity of M&E result tracking and reporting mechanism of the project;
∎ - Effective budget preparation, periodic analysis and review of budget expenditure and ensure efficient budget management in compliance with financial policies and procedures;
∎ - Coordinate, develop and maintain key professional networks, relationships with local partners, governments and NGO service providers;
∎ - Provide guidance to the field team to organize advocacy campaigns and meetings at the field level and attend the campaign.
∎ - Develop ICT materials considering the national and international themes to observe the international Drowning Prevention day.
∎ - Network and maintain dialogue with relevant stakeholders e.g. Government Institutions, National and International Development Organizations to ensure collaboration, synergy, and sharing of experiences on drowning and advocacy issues.
∎ - Provide technical guidance and advice to the program’s management team on issues of drowning prevention advocacy mainstreaming in projects.
∎ - Facilitate training, workshops and seminar and prepare monthly quarterly and yearly progress reports;
∎ - Undertake all activities in accordance with internal management systems, operating procedures and policies, and monitor field-based work to maintain compliance;
∎ - Carry out regular field visits to inspect works, review progress and determine/receive feedback from the team and the beneficiaries regarding emerging challenges and gaps and hold the staff accountable for correcting the field findings and taking immediate actions;
∎ - Contribute to the preparation of budgets, funding concepts and proposals through analysis of field data and actual costs incurred on activity implementation.
∎ - Maintain liaison with the NGOAB and DC offices for getting project approval collecting certificates;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ - At least 10 years of proven and progressive experience working on Advocacy, networking and training related issues.
∎ - Demonstrated skill in advocacy and influencing.
∎ - Ability to build the capacity of NGOs/staff and reference people to deliver advocacy work.
∎ - Have the experience to organize National/International-level workshops on various issues.
∎ - Have the experience to work with policy issues in Bangladesh.
∎ - Efficient in fluent speaking and writing skills in English and standard report writing skills.
∎ - Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
∎ - Other Specific Skill Requirements: Excellent judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Outstanding critical thinking skills, attention to detail, accuracy and ability to think 'outside the box.
∎ - Ability to work in cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural internal teams, and with external stakeholders.
∎ - Delivering specific results, developing self and team members, problem-solving and decision making, innovating and adapting, applying technical and professional expertise.
∎ - Experience in designing research/surveys would be added as an additional qualification and advantage.
∎ - The applicants have experience working in drowning prevention, child protection, ECCD, quality education, SDGs, Right to Education etc.
∎ Job Location- Dhaka with an extensive field visit
Salary:
∎ Tk. 75000 (Monthly)
