Responsibilities & Context
1. Production & Quality Monitoring
Monitor production activities (cutting, sewing, finishing, packing) to ensure compliance with buyer quality standards
Ensure correct implementation of approved samples (PP, Fit, Size Set, etc.) in production
Conduct regular in-line and end-line inspections
2. Pre-Production & Process Control
Attend and support Pre-Production Meetings (PPM)
Ensure all production requirements are clearly understood by the factory team
Verify availability of approved samples, trims, fabrics, and technical documents before production starts
3. In-Line Inspection & Defect Control
Perform in-line inspections to identify defects at an early stage
Work closely with production teams to correct issues immediately
Ensure defect rate is minimized and controlled within acceptable limits
4. Final Inspection & Shipment Readiness
Conduct final inspections as per AQL standards
Ensure products meet buyer specifications before shipment
Coordinate with QA team for approval and shipment clearance
5. Production Follow-Up
Monitor daily production output and quality performance
Identify bottlenecks and communicate with production teams for corrective action
Ensure production is aligned with Time & Action (TNA) plan
6. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare and submit daily/weekly QC reports
Maintain inspection records and quality data
Report any major quality risks to management on time
7. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, and QA teams
Support smooth communication between factory and buying office
Ensure quick resolution of quality-related issues
