Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical from any reputed Public /International University;
∎ NIRBUS and Other Certification regarding Safety process will be an added qualification;
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Build & drive a culture of safe working environment;
∎ Development of a Project Safety Plan and Safety Supervision on site in compliance with the project safety requirements;
∎ Introduce & enhance PTW & other permits;
∎ Identification of hazards and proposal of mitigation measures;
∎ Regular job site inspections and safety briefings to the work forces on machineries and the safety systems;
∎ Review, plan and specify for new systems, machineries, and equipment to ensure overall safety of respective concerns;
∎ Identify and monitor safety regulations and implementations, doing maintenance checks, assess risks and recommend the improvements;
∎ Evaluate the compliance of products and buildings with safety regulations and require amendments;
∎ Installs all the safety devices in the buildings and machineries in accordance with current policies, industrial processes and regulations;
∎ Regular inspect for Usage of faulty equipment and electrical cord extensions;
∎ Reduction of accidents and increased protection of workers when using formwork and verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for us;
∎ Conducts investigations of all accidents / near-misses and take necessary action plan to establishes safety standards and policies as needed;
∎ Organize routine trainings to apply good sense and safety practices;
∎ Train and carry out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations;
∎ Serves as the link between state and local agencies and contractors;
∎ Reports to concerned authorities as requested or mandated by regulations;
∎ Provide safety engineer training for pro-actively handle the breakout situations;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 8 (Eight) years of experience out of which 2-3 years in similar position from any large Group of Industries;
∎ In-depth understanding of safety issues and policy work at national and international levels;
∎ Sound and up-to-date knowledge of development concepts, methodologies and techniques including demonstrated expertise;
∎ High level of integrity with a strong sense of urgency and result orientations;
∎ Excellent leadership skills as well as facilitation and capacity building for inter-linkages between senior officials;
∎ Conceptual, analytical, documentation and presentation skills;
∎ Proficiency in English language and acquainted with diverse work environment;
∎ Well conversant in MS-Office, especially in Oracle ERP;
∎ Job Location: Kashimpur, Gazipur
