Position: Senior Manager – Air Freight
Job Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh

Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage all air freight operations, including import, export, and cross-trade shipments.
Develop business strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and market share.
Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, GSA/GSS agents, overseas partners, and key customers.
Negotiate competitive air freight rates, allotments, and service agreements with airlines and international agents.
Manage air freight pricing, quotations, booking, documentation, shipment tracking, and delivery coordination.
Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term relationships with corporate clients.
Supervise and motivate the air freight team to achieve operational and sales targets.
Monitor shipment schedules, operational costs, service quality, and departmental profitability.
Ensure compliance with airline requirements, customs regulations, security procedures, and international air cargo standards.
Resolve shipment-related issues and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, revenue, profitability, and operational activities.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Professional training in air freight forwarding will be an advantage.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, with strong expertise in air freight operations and management.
Proven experience in air freight pricing, airline negotiations, business development, and team leadership.
Strong knowledge of MAWB/HAWB, IATA procedures, customs documentation, and international air cargo operations.
Required Skills
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Excellent business development and customer relationship management abilities.
Good knowledge of airline pricing, international air freight markets, and cargo handling procedures.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet business targets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and freight forwarding software.
