Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc Engineering in Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunications or Computer Science
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise and Manage SOC (outsourced) team for end-to-end and day to day Operations & Maintenance /troubleshooting, Liaise with NSM (Access Network, Core Network, Transmission Network, NTTN), ISM (RO & Power and Data Center), BSS/IT/DBSS team
∎ Guide & Evaluate malfunctioning incidents, alarms/faults and service interruption/degradation notifications from Supervision team
∎ Identify problem areas in the network/IT and supervise and ensure timely corrective actions are taken as per the Service Level Agreement (SLA) in terms of malfunctioning or fault of equipment
∎ Maintain Incident & problem management RCA & Improvement plan tracking till final / permanent resolution. Ensure monthly management reporting on Incident & Problem Management.
∎ Supervise CAB meeting and ensure CAB request approved with following agreed change classification list, proper MoP, Plan, stakeholders vetting and communication with Technology.
∎ Lead SOC team so that CR/WO plan and execution status circulate to all stakeholders as per agreed time. Need to ensure proper reporting for clear visibility about Change Management execution status.
∎ Manage performance of OS through objective setting, continuous support and feedback, and formal appraisal in line with SLA
∎ Quantitative analysis of faults/trend, identify issues/problems and escalated to concern team for permanent resolution
∎ Coordination with internal & external stakeholders WITH the objective to ensure minimal network/services un-availability & on-time problem/issue resolution
∎ Overall governance & management of SOC monitoring tools
∎ SOC 24*7 shift/roaster schedule & leave management
Additional Requirements:
∎ 8+ years of relevant experience in GSM/Telecommunications sector
∎ Required Capabilities:
∎ Thorough knowledge of Network faults monitoring of RAN/Core/IP/Microwave, Optical & NTTN Transmission/BSS/IT/charging/Cyber Security domain
∎ Thorough understanding of GSM technical aspects
∎ Thorough knowledge of telecom operations specially NOC/SOC 24*7 shift operations & governance
∎ Sound know how of telecom technologies, network equipment and topologies/architecture
∎ Knowledge about Telecom/IT/BSS change/incident & problem/crisis management process governance
∎ Knowledge about management reporting about TT/CR/WO/Incident/fault/problem SLA and improvement plan
