• Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in garment design, with substantial hands-on experience in outerwear.

• Strong knowledge of woven jackets, padded jackets, parkas, windbreakers, technical outerwear, and related product categories.

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and other relevant design software.

• Sound understanding of fabrics, trims, garment construction, pattern interpretation, and technical specifications.

• Experience working with international apparel buyers such as Zara, Columbia, PVH, Decathlon etc., and in export-oriented garment manufacturing.

• Strong creativity, attention to detail, communication skills, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

• A portfolio demonstrating relevant outerwear design and product development experience will be an advantage

Croydon Kowloon Designs Limited (CKDL), a leading manufacturer of high-quality woven outerwear and technical garments, is looking for an experienced and creative Sr. Designer – Outerwear to join its Design & Product Development team.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Develop innovative outerwear designs aligned with international fashion trends, buyer requirements, and seasonal collections.

• Create design concepts, mood boards, sketches, color combinations, and technical design specifications.

• Develop and interpret tech packs, construction details, material specifications, and garment measurements.

• Collaborate with Product Development, Merchandising, Technical, and Production teams to ensure design feasibility and product quality.

• Research fabrics, trims, accessories, finishes, and garment construction techniques relevant to outerwear.

• Review prototypes and samples, providing technical feedback to ensure design accuracy and buyer compliance.

• Support product development from initial concept through sample approval.

• Ensure designs meet customer expectations, quality standards, functionality, and target costing requirements.
