∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding/ C&F
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should have in depth understanding on production based raw materials planning with logistics, mills & automobile related spares & consumables
∎ Up to date market intelligence
∎ Establishing solid base of manufacturers, suppliers, vendors & service providers for aggregates, spares, consumables, commercial & logistics service providers
∎ Develop new base of suppliers, service providers
∎ Negotiate with suppliers & service providers
∎ Day to day affairs related with banks & financial organizations
∎ Preparing work/purchase order,contracts, agreements in a professional manner
∎ Process payments , invoices to complete billing cycles
∎ Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities
∎ Keep a constant check on stock levels of raw materials & consumables
∎ Develop a purchasing strategy/policy
∎ Supervise & lead the team of import (commercial & logistics) and local scm [presently altogether 4 persons]
∎ Frequent coordination with internal departments
∎ Produce reports and statistics on spending and savings
∎ Periodical field work
