Job Overview
Home Repair (BD) LTD is looking for a creative and technically skilled 2D & 3D CAD Designer with expertise in architectural drafting, 3D modelling, and architectural visualization. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and D5 Render, with the ability to transform architectural concepts, site measurements, and design requirements into accurate technical drawings and high-quality visual presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
- Develop accurate 3D architectural models using SketchUp.
- Produce high-quality interior and exterior architectural visualizations using Lumion and D5 Render.
- Create realistic renders with appropriate lighting, materials, textures, and landscaping.
- Convert site measurements, sketches, and design concepts into technical drawings and 3D models.
- Prepare design presentations and visual materials for client proposals.
- Revise and update drawings and visualizations based on client and project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and timely delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting and 3D modelling).
- Hands-on experience with SketchUp for 3D modelling.
- Proficiency in Lumion and/or D5 Render for architectural visualization.
- Good understanding of architectural design, construction details, dimensions, and space planning.
- Ability to prepare detailed technical and execution drawings.
- Strong sense of aesthetics, materials, lighting, textures, and composition.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Educational Qualification:Diploma / B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a relevant discipline. Equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in residential and commercial interior/exterior projects.
- Knowledge of Photoshop or other post-production tools.
- Experience preparing client-facing 3D presentations and walkthroughs.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating previous 2D drawings, 3D models, and realistic renders.
