Assistant/Trainee Merchandiser

Manage assigned buyer accounts and maintain regular communication regarding order status, development, approvals, and shipment timelines

Understand buyer requirements, tech packs, and quality standards, ensuring accurate execution

Coordinate sample development (proto, fit, PP, size set, etc.) and ensure timely submission and approval

Prepare accurate costing considering yarn, knitting, trims, washing, and CM; support price negotiation with buyers

Source yarns, trims, and accessories in coordination with sourcing and procurement teams

Follow up with production, planning, and factory teams to ensure smooth order execution

Monitor production stages (knitting, linking, washing, finishing) and take proactive actions to avoid delays

Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure product quality meets buyer standards and compliance requirements

Identify and resolve production or quality issues in a timely manner

Ensure on-time shipment as per delivery schedule and buyer requirements

Coordinate with commercial/logistics teams for shipment documentation (LC, invoice, packing list, etc.)

Maintain accurate order records, files, and documentation

Prepare and update order status reports and share regular updates with management

Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams

Support business growth by assisting in new developments and buyer requirements
