Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the Planning Department in a reputed Knit Composite Garments Manufacturing Company.
Strong practical knowledge of production planning, capacity analysis, SMV, line balancing, work study and productivity improvement.
Good understanding of GSD, Lean Manufacturing, EPM, CPM and modern IE practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with good command of production and IE-related data.
Must have hands-on experience in working with factory production and IE teams.
Experience with ERP/MRP or digital production planning systems will be an advantage.
Strong communication, coordination and team management skills.
The candidate should be result-oriented, disciplined, analytical and willing to work closely with the factory floor and production teams.
Responsibilities & Context
We are a leading 100% export-oriented Knit Composite Garments Manufacturer seeking experienced personnel in the Planning Department to drive production planning, capacity utilization, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead production planning, capacity planning, line loading, and scheduling to ensure on-time delivery.
Monitor and improve line efficiency, EPM, CPM, SMV, and manpower productivity.
Optimize production layouts and workflow to reduce bottlenecks, idle time, and operational losses.
Reduce changeover time /non-productive time.
Apply Lean, GSD, EOS, EPM, and CPM techniques for continuous productivity improvement.
Monitor production/IE KPIs and provide data-based performance reports and corrective actions.
Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments for smooth production execution.
Lead and develop the Planning team and ensure achievement of departmental targets.
