Job Responsibilities:
∎ To proactively fundraise for the Bangladesh programme.
∎ To support and capacity build the programme teams and, Cox's Bazar Office and over all country office in planning, securing and managing restricted funds.
∎ To ensure that donor procedures and processes are adhered to.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Demonstrable experience of planning for, securing and managing funds from institutional donors, such as DFID, EU, ECHO, DFAT, SIDA, GAC and UN agencies
∎ High level of analytical skills and critical thinking with the ability to research, analyze, and report writing
∎ Knowledge of Project Cycle Management with previous field experience
∎ Excellent written skills with proven ability to develop and present proposals and donor reports, for both internal and external audiences.
∎ Strong numeracy and financial skills, particularly in developing budgets, financial management/monitoring and reporting.
∎ Experience in staff management, capacity building; coaching and delivering training at an individual and group level.
∎ Highly developed interpersonal and communication and relationship skills with ability to influence external organizations and individuals and ability to work effectively with others in diverse team situations to achieve fundraising targets.
∎ Information management and IT skills with attention to detail to develop and analyze donor budgets and financial reports; and to develop/maintain and give guidance on electronic and manual contract management and reporting systems.
∎ Proactive, flexible, open to ideas and learning as well as willing to work extra hours including weekends/off days as required.
∎ Self-motivated, target-driven and a proactive approach to funding.
∎ Ability to manage his/her time effectively.
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English
∎ Gender knowledge and cultural sensitivity with a strong commitment and understanding of Oxfam's values and principles.
∎ Knowledge of Oxfam GB's internal Donor Contract Management (DCM) system
∎ ("PEOPLESOFT"/CRIMSON)
∎ IELTS/English proficiency certification
∎ Knowledge of the region
∎ Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and gender issues, as well as the commitment to equal opportunities
∎ Ability to demonstrate an openness and willingness to learn about the application of gender/gender mainstreaming, women's rights, and diversity for all aspects of development work
∎ Commitment to Oxfam's safeguarding policies to ensure all people who come into contact with Oxfam are as safe as possible

Salary:
∎ BDT. 1,722,303 gross per annum (13 months)
