Job Context:

The Company complements government efforts in the areas of TB screening, EPI and Covid-19 vaccination efforts. To lead this challenging journey SHN invites applications from competent and potential talents for the above position to be located at SHN Head quarter.
∎ The incumbent will be reporting to Chief Executive Officer (CEO). S/he will supervise Clinical Service Team and will manage relationship with relevant stakeholders. S/he will have other major interactions with Divisional/Departmental Heads, Clinic Managers, Board Sub Committees, Board Members and Head Office Managers.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Takes overall responsibility for the delivery of health services and growth in SHN clinics.
∎ Conceptualizes the design and oversees the implementation of a continuous quality improvement system that is consistent with SHN polices and practice and reflects national and international standards of care.
∎ Working through the Medical and Quality Improvement Manager and other SHN technical staff to develop, and where required, implement technical assistance plans, training and other staff development approaches to increase the quality of services throughout the SHN network.
∎ Represent SHN at relevant Government of Bangladesh and other stakeholder meetings related to clinical services, quality and medical policy.
∎ Analyze clinical data, service statistics and other data to pinpoint service trends, clinical performance and adjust service delivery packages as needed.
∎ Oversee incident investigations in cases where clients have a complication as a result of a clinical procedure, and work in coordination with the Medical and Quality Improvement Manager and other relevant SHN staff to prevent these events in the future.
∎ Participate in the introduction and design of new SHN services.
∎ Directly supervise the Medical and Quality Improvement Manager.
∎ Promotes and protects patients' rights.
∎ Participate in and contribute to the development of reports, work plans, and other SHN documents.
∎ Other duties as assigned by the SHN CEO.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 55 years
∎ Experience in quality improvement for clinical service delivery of primary care services is a must.
∎ Four (04) years of experience in leadership role.
∎ Age and experience may be relaxed for exceptional candidates.
∎ Recent service provider experience in maternal child health, including labor and delivery including C sections or family planning.
∎ Familiarity with the latest methodologies of quality improvement and patient safety.
∎ Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in complexes environments.
∎ A comprehensive understanding of the Government of Bangladesh's guidelines and protocols regarding the Essential Service Package, as well as understanding internationally recognized best practices in the delivery of primary care services.
∎ Experience working with private sector quality initiatives preferred.
∎ Experience in accreditation, standard development or certification, continuous learning program will be an asset.
∎ Experience in handling information technology for quality improvement and capacity building.
∎ Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing in both Bangla and English.
∎ Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
∎ Demonstrated integrity, independent thinking, judgment, and respect for others.
