∎ YPSA - Young Power in Social Action (www.ypsa.org) is an organization for sustainable development working in the greater Chattogram division since 1985 (International Youth Year). YPSA is implementing a project on Prioritized HIV prevention and treatment services for key populations in Bangladesh at Chattogram, Cox`sbazar, Sylhet and Cumilla district with the technical support from Dhaka Ahsania Mission and Save the Children, funded by The Global Fund.
∎ Duration: January 2023 to December 2023 (High possibility subject to fund availability)
∎ Job Summary:
∎ Field Organizer is mainly responsible for achieving the 90-90-90 targets for his working area. Part of this; S/he will play major role for managing and supervising overall outreach activities and ensuring high quality outreach service delivery. S/he will provide supportive supervision for the community organizers, critical review of community organizers performances and provide feedback accordingly. Field Organizer will assist outreach workers at DIC for group education. S/he will communicate with the community stakeholders for creating enabling environment. Field Organizer will be responsible for ensuring follow-up, home visits, family meeting etc. Assist in identification of potential FSWs and MARAs and addressing the GBV are one of his/her major role under this assignment. S/he will assist community organizers for preparing their report. S/he will act as backup M&E and program personnel in absence of DIC Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure high quality HIV prevention service delivery to female sex workers (FSWs), MARAs and their clients.
∎ Facilitate works to produce/achieve targeted results and minimize field problems/conflicts.
∎ Monitor and Supervise distribution of condoms (Health Products).
∎ Take necessary initiative to ensure social marketing of condoms to female sex workers (FSWs), MARAs and their clients with proper documentation.
∎ Supervise one-to-one and/or group health education to the FSWs and MARAs at outreach and DIC level and ensure on the job training to peer outreach worker's as needed.
∎ Monitor outreach activities following the structured format.
∎ Ensure referral of FSWs and MARAs for DIC based clinical services as well as other services.
∎ Identify the referral linkage based on the need to targeted beneficiaries (C&T, Legal support, MCH, TB, FP, GBV, etc.) and consult with supervisor for developing MoUs and ensure a functional referral service.
∎ Ensure follow up of referred cases and ensure proper documentation.
∎ Facilitate searching new FSWs and MARAs to attend DIC to get services.
∎ Facilitate regular update of mother list.
∎ Prepare report daily using prescribed formats.
∎ Ensure support to DIC Manager as back up M&E and program personnel while needed.
∎ Support and supervise accurate daily record keeping by the peer outreach worker's.
∎ Timely attend DIC and sign in the attendance register daily.
∎ Work in the outreach as per schedule.
∎ Perform all the other tasks assigned by the office
∎ Ready to work to respond to any natural disaster or emergency situation anywhere in Bangladesh.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Working Experience: Candidates having minimum 3-year experience of working in HIV/AIDS and most-at-risk-population.
∎ Job related knowledge: Have proven capability for trouble shooting. Ability to prepare monthly/quarterly/annual programmatic reports in coordination with DIC/Outlet team.
∎ Skills: Ability to interact professionally with a diverse population. Ability to exercise flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities. Team working, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Salary:
∎ Monthly consolidated Salary in BDT: 13,086/-
