∎ PORTWEST, Ireland a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of an IT Support Technician to be based in Cumilla Export Processing Zone, Bangladesh. Portwest is one of the fastest growing workwear companies in the world currently employing over 4600 staff worldwide, with customer service staff in over 130 countries. We design, manufacture, and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities.
∎ OFFICE TIME:2.00pm to 10.00pm, Monday to Friday (follow the office time of Ireland)
∎ WEEKEND:Saturday & Sunday
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The IT Support Technician will be a key member of the IT support team, providing remote 1st & 2nd Level support to the business, resolving, or escalating system and user relate issues in a timely fashion.
∎ Provide 1st and 2nd line support to all employees.
∎ Office365 administration
∎ Diagnosing network and server related issues
∎ Configuration, Installation & Support of IT solutions
∎ Managing new users, password management, security, backups.
∎ Manage support tickets to ensure a timely, satisfactory resolution
∎ Provide accurate information to Management & Staff.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Effective Communication
∎ Min 5 years' experience in a similar role
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is must
∎ Time Management & Prioritise work
