∎ Process Optimization and Development: Assist in developing and optimizing industrial processes to increase productivity, reduce costs, and ensure quality control in the production of paper. This involves analyzing current processes, suggesting improvements, and implementing new procedures under the guidance of senior engineers.
∎ Quality Control and Testing: Conduct routine chemical and physical tests of paper products to ensure compliance with industry and safety standards. This includes analyzing raw materials and finished products for their properties and performance.
∎ Equipment Design and Maintenance: Work alongside maintenance teams to ensure that the chemical processing equipment is functioning optimally. This may involve designing and modifying equipment to improve efficiency and safety in the paper production process.
∎ Environmental and Safety Compliance: Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and workplace safety standards. This includes identifying hazardous conditions or practices and recommending corrective actions to minimize risks.
∎ Research and Development: Participate in research projects aimed at developing new paper products or improving the sustainability of paper production processes. This involves collaborating with other engineers and scientists to test hypotheses, analyze data, and report findings.
∎ Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to production teams, helping to troubleshoot issues related to the chemical aspects of paper manufacturing. This includes diagnosing problems, suggesting solutions, and overseeing the implementation of corrective measures.
∎ Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of experiments, process changes, and production outcomes. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and progress to management and other stakeholders.
