Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a dynamic program and monitoring officer willing to take challenge in the field of human rights with specific attention to the marginalized and excluded groups in Bangladesh under a project, "Promoting human rights of marginalized groups in Bangladesh through Brattyajan Resource Centre".
∎ Job location: Dhaka, but will be required to travel extensively in the project areas throughout the country.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organize workshops, consultations, conventions and dialogues.
∎ Work closely with the research and investigation teams.
∎ Collect relevant publications and productions related to excluded and marginalized communities.
∎ Organise central repository and community repositories.
∎ Develop dissemination, communication and visibility strategies.
∎ Disseminate knowledge resources among the targets.
∎ Monitor implementation of project activities.
∎ Work closely with programme director to make sure project activities are implemented in time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least four years in conduct of training, research and writing (data analysis, documentation, field supervision, field work, interviewing, report writing, editing, research design/analysis, survey design/planning, survey, transcription, etc.)
∎ Readiness to travel extensively throughout the country.
∎ Excellent language and communication skills (English and Bangla).
∎ Team building and management skills.
∎ Computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
Salary:
∎ Maximum BDT 45,000.00 after confirmation
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Two yearly festival bonuses that is equivalent to one-month pay.
