The Society for Environment and Human Development (SEHD) is a Dhaka based highly accomplished non-profit organization working for human rights and environmental justice in Bangladesh through research, capacity building training, and advocacy. ∎ We are looking for a dynamic research Associate willing to take challenge in the field of human rights with specific attention to the marginalized and excluded groups in Bangladesh under a project, "Promoting human rights of marginalized groups in Bangladesh through Brattyajan Resource Centre".
∎ Job location: Dhaka, but will be required to travel extensively in the project areas throughout the country.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the researcher and different teams engaged in research, survey and investigations.
∎ Participate in survey and study in the field.
∎ Assist in the preparation of questionnaire for survey and research.
∎ Work closely with program assistants and communities in identifying qualified field surveyors when needed.
∎ Assist in dissemination of knowledge resources at the community level.
∎ Engage in translation and design of the publications and productions.
∎ Participate in photography and production of the documentary film.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Readiness to travel extensively throughout the country.
∎ Good language and communication skills (English and Bangla).
∎ Team building and management skills.
∎ Computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
∎ At least three years in research and writing (data analysis, documentation, field supervision, field work, interviewing, report writing, editing, research design/analysis, survey design/planning, survey, transcription, etc.).

Salary: Tk. 35000 (Monthly)

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 2
∎ Two yearly festival bonuses that is equivalent to one-month pay after confirmation.
