Job Context:
∎ G-III Hong Kong Ltd Sister concern of G-III Apparel Group
∎ Leading manufacturer and distributor of apparel and accessories under licensed brands, owned brands and private label brands.
∎ Product: Swatter, Woven, Knit, knit Cut & Sew- Sportswear, Outerwear, Active wear, Suit & Suit separates

Job Responsibilities:
∎ PRODUCT CONTROL
∎ Being involved at sample stage
∎ Conduct Sample/ SIP file Hand over meeting
∎ Attending Pre Production meetings on certain orders with Supplier/ Factory
∎ Performing Inspections using G-III tools and methods
∎ Making sure all customer requirements are being followed in production
∎ Making sure the order is produced according to the approved counter sample
∎ Performing a follow up on GIII requirements for quality System / guideline for production & quality control.
∎ COOPERATION WITH PRODUCTION TEAMS
∎ QC must have a close Co-operation with Production teams and co-operate, co-ordinate and communicate with all concerned Production teams
∎ Secure best products for bulk production according to Time of delivery
∎ Have an open dialogue between the teams to find solutions, effective methods and avoid repeatedly mistakes
∎ Give feedback to the Production teams regarding Vendors/Factories status
∎ COOPERATION WITH VENDORS
∎ QC must have a close Co-operation with vendors and have a good knowledge of vendor's production set up e.g. production process, machinery, employee's skills
∎ Educate; support vendors/Factories practically in their daily work according to G-III requirements
∎ Encourage vendors to become more active in finding good solutions. To secure best product for bulk production
∎ Be a good G-III role model towards vendors/ Factories.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7-10 years of experience in which 5 years experience in garment factory & 2 years experience in reputed buying house
∎ Have experience for controlling the quality for Knit/Woven products from sampling & conduct trial, inline & final inspection
∎ Able to contribute to improve quality with problem solving ability
∎ Able to suggest alternative solution
∎ Good production machine knowledge
∎ Able to conduct pre-production meetings
∎ Excellent knowledge in written & spoken English
∎ Excellent computer knowledge with office program
∎ Good Team spirit
∎ Candidate will be preferred who have skill especially on Swatter also should have experience on Cut & Sew Knit, Woven & Denim

Salary: Negotiable
