Responsibilities & Context
Paddy Inspection: Checking raw paddy for the correct moisture level (14%) and removing stones or dust before milling begins.
Milling Checks: Monitoring the machines to make sure they produce mostly whole rice grains and very few broken ones.
Fortification Mixing: Ensuring that exactly 1 kg of Fortified Rice Kernels (FRK) is mixed evenly into every 100 kg of normal rice.
Packaging & Weight: Verifying that bags have the correct weight, strong stitching, and clear manufacturing/expiry dates printed on them.
Warehouse Hygiene: Keeping the storage area clean, dry, and free from insects or pests through regular spraying and cleaning.
