Job Context:
∎ First Dhaka Elevated Expressway (FDEE) Is Bangladesh’s First Elevated Expressway Project, Which Will Connect The Shahjalal Airport With Kutubkhali Via Mohakhali, Tejgaon And Kamalapur Of Dhaka. It Is One Of The Largest Infrastructure Projects Taken Up By The Incumbent Government To Ease Traffic Congestion In The Capital.
∎ This Project required 5 no`s Route Patrol Helper for the operations.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the road patrol officer to do a good job of road patrol
∎ Patrolling the Highway.
∎ Managing Incidents/Accidents.
∎ Implementation of Lane Closer Procedure.
∎ Calling for Assistance, Medical or Tow services.
∎ Co-ordination with the Control Centre.
∎ Interfacing with the local agencies like Police, Fire Bridge, Hospitals etc.
∎ Following the Incident Management Procedure.
∎ Protecting the assets on the Highway.
∎ Reporting of damages on the Road/Assets.
∎ Encroachment control &removal.
∎ Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
∎ Knowledge of job site safety practices required.
∎ Reporting dangerous and illegal road users.
∎ Dispose of trash, ensure clearness.
∎ Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
∎ Good knowledge of road patrol .
∎ Traffic control management will be carried out.
∎ Road clearance operations will be carried out.
∎ Skill in dealing effectively with a wide variety of personalities while enforcing policies and regulations.
∎ Skill in planning, organizing, assigning, and with particular attention to maximizing optimum use of existing resources.
∎ Skill in interpreting and applying the administrative and operational policies and procedures.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to work alone for long periods.
∎ Good interpersonal skills.
∎ Willingness to work for night shifts too.
∎ Knowledge of national roadways
∎ Knowledge of traffic management
∎ Fluent in English reading, and writing .
∎ Able to use computer and have working knowledge of MS /Excel off.
∎ Ability to adjust to rapidly changing personnel, work, and environmental conditions and react accordingly.
∎ Ability to analyze problems, develops alternate courses of action, and employ or recommend employment of a solution.
∎ Work with small team .
∎ Well versed in computer knowledge and Internet.
