Job Context:
∎ OaMetrix is a UK based startup building a disruptive SaaS application for the Higher Education and Publishing industry. We are looking for 2 backend python developers with an extensive knowledge of Django Rest API and have hands-on working experience in different Python-based enterprise software projects.
∎ The position will be initially home-based, working with other remote colleagues based in Dhaka. Later, you will be working at least 3 days/week in an office based in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Write clear and concise code to build a secure and complex SaaS web application.
∎ Support CTO with core codebase to build new features and improve on the existing ones.
∎ Support CTO or self-initiate test-driven software application development methodologies.
∎ Integrate multiple systems to push and pull data through API
Additional Requirements:
∎ We are looking for a person with a startup mindset who has a can do attitude.
∎ The right candidate must be a team player and good communicator.
∎ Good problem-solving skills, logical and able to think outside of the box.
∎ Minimum 2-3 years of experience with programming in Python, Django framework and hands on experience building enterprise software projects (Fresher could be considered as Junior software engineer).
∎ Able to write clear and concise codes for new features and follow best practice python-based application.
∎ Excellent debugging skills
∎ Some knowledge on JavaScript and React Js would be an added advantage.
∎ Good knowledge about Postgres database
∎ Proficiency in version control, Git
∎ Any knowledge or willing to learn Machine learning (NLP) will be an added advantage.
