∎ Stay abreast of federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and industry standards.
∎ Monitor changes in legislation and regulations to ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant.
∎ Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
∎ Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
∎ Communicate policy changes and updates to relevant stakeholders across the organization.
∎ Provide guidance and interpretation on HR policies to managers, employees, and HR colleagues.
∎ Ensure compliance with laws related to equal employment opportunity (EEO), affirmative action, anti-discrimination, and harassment prevention.
∎ Review recruitment and selection processes to ensure fairness and compliance with legal requirements.
∎ Investigate complaints or allegations of misconduct and ensure appropriate resolution in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
∎ Establish and maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to HR compliance activities, including employee files, training records, and affirmative action plans.
∎ Develop and implement recordkeeping systems to facilitate data management and reporting requirements.
∎ Ensure confidentiality and security of HR-related information in compliance with privacy laws and regulations.
∎ Develop and deliver training programs on HR compliance topics for managers, employees, and HR staff.
∎ Provide guidance and resources to support managers in understanding and fulfilling their compliance responsibilities.
∎ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance awareness and accountability.
∎ Prepare and submit required reports and filings to regulatory agencies, such as EEO-1, OSHA, and FMLA.

∎ Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries and audits, coordinating responses and providing necessary documentation.
