Experience in Core Network Operations (IP & Data)
Understanding of different IP routing and switching protocols.
Working experience with MikroTik and Cisco devices.
The applicants should have experience in the following areas: Network Engineer/ Network Administrator.
Responsibilities & Context
24/7 Real time IP and transmission network monitoring, troubleshooting of ISP/ITC/IIG/IGW/IPTSP/ICX and client support from NOC.
Receive complaints and solve customers’ problem over phone, mail and forward to responsible team if necessary.
Configure customer services and other TDM connectivity via transmission infrastructure of ITC, IIG, ISP, IGW and ICX. Plan to reroute the connectivity whenever required.
ITC backbone and upstream monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving
Regularly update outage records, BW utilization report, capacity allocation, customer database and various documentation and reports.
Configuring different IP Routing Protocols (BGP/OSPF/IS-IS etc), Switching service, NNI-Options & Network/System Security protocols.
Have to work on different vendor platform i.e Cisco Router and Switch (IOS XE and IOS XR Platform), Cisco Firewall, FortiNet , MikroTik.
Troubleshooting of Corporate/ISP customers' connectivity issues in edge devices, understanding their requirements and provide solution accordingly
Need to perform roster based duties.
