Educational Requirements:

∎ A Bachelor's degree in relevant subjects with seven and more years of experience will also be considered.
∎ Skills Required: Communication, Experience in business development, Reporting and Documentation, Teamplayer, Very Good at Microsoft office specially on MS Excel PPT

Job Context:
∎ Arannayk Foundation is looking for an experienced enthusiast to join in its team to strengthen forest and biodiversity conservation, Sustainable improvement of the Co-management Committee, Youth engagement, and eco-tourism development Portfolio. If you have a passion for forest protection and restoration, biodiversity conservation, and enhancement of ecosystem services to tackle climate change, you are the incumbent we are looking for.
∎ S/he will expressively perform a role in the implementation of Co-management activities according to Protected Area Rule (2017) and biodiversity conservation activities to achieve the desired outcome and effective induction in consultation with the program team as well as be responsible for the inclusion of new ideas in a specific sector and relevant stakeholders for the sustainability of the approach.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Participate in beneficiaries' identification and ensure that beneficiaries are selected according to relevant criteria, defined by the communities and the Line Management
∎ Ensure good communication toward the project and make sure that the projects' objectives are well understood and accepted by the communities as well as the selection criteria
∎ Ensure the quality of the data collected at the field level by her/his team and participate in data analysis and maintain an archive of data files
∎ Help in the assessment of other topics in order to develop a new project
∎ Plan the weekly activities, supervising and monitoring each stage of activity, ensuring that the schedules and deadlines agreed upon with the line manager are respected
∎ Prepare planning on Co-Management Activities of Sheikh Jamal Inani National Park (SJINP) as per PA Rule-2017 including necessary support and enterprise development for the Community Patrolling Group (CPG), Elephant Response Team (ERT), and Youth Environment Squad (YES)
∎ Propose a technical approach, financial layout, and logistics for the activities and develop sustainable enterprise development for these community groups.
∎ Ensure that the appropriate technical support is provided to beneficiaries, particularly through the technical hotline in close collaboration with the MEAL department.
∎ Participate in the location selection, method validation, and preparation of all the activities (trail development, elephant non-preferable crop production, bio-fencing plots, watch tower for monitoring elephant movement, etc.) with possible risk management and validate technically the final location.
∎ Create appropriate technical guidelines and session plans on forest and biodiversity conservation issues for stakeholders under the guidance of the Project Manager and Project Director and communication supports for all the activities in close collaboration with the technical department from the Government (mainly BFD) and upon validation of the respective line manager.
∎ In collaboration with MEAL and the Project Manager, conduct and supervise assessment, data entry, and analysis and archive the files.
∎ Plan and implement activities for the online marketplace of Nursery products in engagement with a private sector entity.
∎ Organize different national and international Day Celebration events and other social events for the project.
∎ Make sure that the activities developed are DRR mainstreamed and resilient with the technical support of the line manager.
∎ Plan and procure human resources, material, and financial resources with the line manager according to the set schedule and ensure and monitor the quality of the resources.
∎ Make sure that her/his team is properly and regularly using the follow-up tools to ensure the efficiency and progress of the activities.
∎ In collaboration with the Line Management, maintain a local operational communication network and positive relations with the local/governmental authorities, donor representatives, UN, and other international agencies
∎ Represent AF on request and/or delegation.
∎ Perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Director or AF management team or any other tasks that shall be decided upon by the Executive Director or any Member of the Board of Directors in the best interest of the Arannayk Foundation.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 33 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Outstanding communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
∎ Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external actors with a particular focus on BFD, Local administration, and relevant stakeholders.
∎ Excellent team building and teamwork abilities in a diverse (gender, race, religion, caste, PWD, etc.) and dynamic setup and abilities to manage complexities.
∎ Result-focused and self-motivated, having values and ethics for mankind and the planet.
∎ Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision.
∎ Enthusiasm to learn new and updated information about NRM.

Salary: Tk. 60000 - 64000 (Monthly)
