Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Market analysis and forecasting skills.

Ability to travel extensively across assigned territories.

Achieve sales targets by forecasting and developing annual and monthly area-wise sales plans, projecting expected sales volume for both existing and new products.

Conduct market visits according to the approved tour plan and ensure timely reporting by all Field Managers (FMs) and Medical Representatives (MRs).

Visit doctors, traders and other key stakeholders regularly to strengthen relationships and grow business.

Organize monthly team meetings and ensure full participation.

Identify opportunities through market and competitor analysis and untouched selling points and set individual targets.

Train, coach and motivate the team to achieve sales and promotional goals.

Ensure full collection of the current month’s dues on a weekly basis and recover previous outstanding liabilities in the assigned territory in line with company policy.

Monitor field force performance by evaluating daily target vs. achievement vs. collection and report to the superior.

Build and strengthen brand value of the company’s products among doctors, traders and other customers.

Identify vacant areas and guide and supervise FMs in recruiting new MRs.

Monitor overall team performance within the territory and reallocate resources as needed to improve results.

Continuously develop new skills in line with market trends and train subordinates accordingly.
