Responsibilities & Context
Key Job Responsibilities – Transport & Fleet Management
Oversee daily truck operations, including vehicle deployment, trip planning, loading, dispatch, and delivery.
Monitor fleet performance, fuel consumption, operating costs, and vehicle utilization.
Ensure preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and vehicle fitness and roadworthiness.
Coordinate with drivers, workshop personnel, and depot teams to ensure smooth transportation operations.
Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, maintenance, and fleet-related expenses.
