Structural Design Engineer( Design Engineer / B.Sc Civil)

• A specialization or practical knowledge in Structural Engineering will be preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical drawing skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Need to visit and stay (if needed) on site (supervision).

Required Experience and Technical Competencies:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in structural design and AutoCAD drafting.

• Practical experience in building design and other structural systems.

• Experience in foundation design, including pile foundations, isolated footings, mat etc. foundations.

• Proficiency in ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, CSI software, and other relevant structural analysis tools.

• Good understanding of structural analysis, load calculations, and reinforced concrete design.

• Knowledge of relevant structural design codes, including BNBC, ACI, and other applicable standards.

• Experience in preparing structural drawings, reinforcement details, and quantity calculations.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting and detailing.

• Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities & Context

• Perform structural analysis and design for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.

• Prepare structural design calculations, drawings, and reinforcement details.

• Design and review foundations, including pile, footing, and mat foundations.

• Analyze structural systems using appropriate engineering software and verify results through engineering calculations.

• Prepare structural drawings, detailing, and quantity calculations in accordance with project requirements.

• Ensure structural designs comply with applicable building codes and engineering standards.

• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other design professionals to ensure design accuracy.

• Review drawings and resolve technical issues during the design and drafting process.

• Maintain accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all assigned design tasks.

Workplace: Work at office and site supervision (if needed)
