Responsibilities & Context
Manage complete denim wet process production in the washing plant, from product development to shipment.
Oversee denim washing, dyeing, finishing and wet process developments.
Monitor production planning and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate with buyers, merchandising and technical teams during development, sampling and approval stages.
Optimize production efficiency, cost, manpower and resource utilization.
Ensure consistent quality, shade, wash performance and production standards.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, chemical and social compliance requirements.
Drive productivity and continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing/process improvement initiatives.
Identify and resolve production and technical issues to minimize rejection, rework and production loss.
Lead, coach and develop production and technical teams.
