Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze product designs and provide accurate cost estimates to clients
∎ Negotiate with suppliers to get the best possible prices and terms
∎ Monitor the production process to ensure that costs are kept within budget
∎ Work closely with production teams to ensure that product quality standards are met
∎ Provide regular reports on cost analysis and forecasting
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product design and production processes
∎ Track and manage product costing and pricing data in Excel or other data analysis tools
∎ Communicate with clients regularly to update them on order status and pricing issues
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Merchandising, or a related field
∎ At least 5 years of experience as a Costing Merchandiser in a buying house or textile manufacturing company
∎ Strong knowledge of production processes and materials
∎ Excellent negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
∎ Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
∎ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
